Your Key Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive occupational health services to support employee wellbeing. Key duties include:
1. Case Management: Provide evidence-based case management for attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health referrals.
2. Detailed Reporting: Produce clear, evidence-backed reports to support employee health and safety.
3. Expert Guidance: Offer advice on legislative requirements and occupational health best practices.
4. Health Assessments: Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance, ensuring adherence to best practices and policies.
5. Team Collaboration: Support and supervise OH Technicians, fostering a collaborative and skilled environment.
6. Professional Development: Maintain NMC registration and adhere to professional guidelines on conduct and learning.
What You Bring:
1. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1) with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma).
2. Attention to Detail: Strong writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
3. Communication Skills: Able to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
4. Time Management: Strong organizational skills and adept at managing priorities.
5. Confidentiality and Ethics: Understanding of data protection principles within occupational health.
