The Role
To carry out the assembly, testing, cleaning and packaging of medical devices.
Under microscopes, assembling electro-mechanical assemblies and finished devices in a cleanroom environment using assembly equipment and systems carefully and safely.
Conduct work safely and according to company values.
Completing batch, and other, documents diligently and accurately thereby assuring robust records.
Planning work along with supervisor.
Maintain material stock record accuracy
Ensuring compliance with all procedures and the quality management system.
In-process inspection of own work and independent verification and testing of other’s work.
Using assembly equipment and systems.
Active involvement with process and product development alongside the R&D team.
Performing production tasks as required by the Production manager.
Completing batch and other documents diligently and accurately thereby assuring appropriate records.
Ensure compliance with all procedures and the quality management system.
Executes own role to all quality standards.
The Candidate
An engineering qualification
Electromechanical assembly background
Strong Soldering Skills -Rework, Modifications with fine wires, and assembly of PCBAS
Experience in visual inspection and excellent eye to detail
Demonstrable practical skills and very high manual dexterity
Familiar with test/inspection equipment
Knowledge of, and worked to the requirements of industry standards
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £38,000 to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
