HEAD OF FINANCIAL PLANNING / MANCHESTER / HYBRID / £65,000 - £75,000 & GREAT BENEFITS
Exciting new opening for an experienced Head of Financial Planning to join a rapidly expanding, international organisation. This is a senior leadership role within the Europe Fleet line of Business for WEX, responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align to the company’s overall objective.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Financial Planning:
1. Developing long-term financial plans with dynamic and flexible models
2. Assessing the potential impact of strategic decisions
3. Forecasting 5 year outturns
4. Evaluating financial data to identify opportunities and risks
5. Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and stakeholders
6. Providing insights and recommendations for decision making
7. Recommending cost reduction strategies and evaluating their impact
8. Evaluating investment opportunities and making recommendations on capital investment
9. Maximising returns on investments including CAC/LTV and customer profitability
10. Acting as a trusted advisor providing financial insights to drive informed decision making
11. Communicating financial information effectively to build trust and transparency
12. Leading and developing a direct team of 3
13. Setting expectations to lead a high performing team that embodies excellent delivery and quality
14. Actively supporting Director of FP&A Strategy and Data and Operational directors
15. Contributing to the leadership of the wider International Finance team
16. Directing and prioritising team activities in line with business priorities
Skills & Experience:
1. ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified
2. Solid experience of strategic decision making
3. Can lead and influence a team of Finance professionals
4. Ability and skill to analyse and provide insight on large datasets
5. Strong understanding of economic indicators
6. Ability to break down complex problems
7. Ability to think critically and develop long term strategies
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Ability to maintain accuracy and precision
