Turner Alternative Provision is excited to offer an opportunity to become part of our dynamic team, working towards providing an exceptional education for every pupil in our care. If you're passionate about supporting vulnerable children to achieve both academically and personally, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Learning Support Mentor, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils to engage with all aspects of life at our Alternative Provision and help them reach their full potential. This will involve working closely with pupils in lessons, either 1:1 or in small groups, running targeted interventions, assisting with related paperwork, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for candidates who are:
* Dedicated team players with enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
* Capable of supporting children with a wide range of special educational needs.
* Able to deliver support in reading, writing, and mathematics, both in the classroom and in small groups.
* Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive impact.
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in supporting learning in the classroom or those who have worked with children with special educational needs. We also encourage graduates seeking in-school experience before pursuing Teacher Training.
