Warehouse Operative and Measuring & Installations Coordinator
Midlands area (Tipton)
£25,396.80
Full time, permanent position
Rare opportunity to join the UK’s leading hygiene services provider
Are you ready for a new and challenging career? Experienced in Workwear and PPE provision? We have an exciting new opportunity to work with us at phs Group, the UK’s leading hygiene services provider. This is a hands-on role for someone who is happy to travel and meet with our valued customers in the North of England. This position requires a responsible and dedicated person with a wide range of skills – and we hope that person is you! Let us tell you why you will love it here.
Your role is vital to our business – you will be the regional Measuring and Installations Co-ordinator representing phs Besafe, a growing division of our phs Group. As an ambassador for the company, you will be meeting with our business customers who have agreed a contract with us for the provision of their PPE clothing or Workwear. You will be responsible for managing your own work diary and will be communicating directly with our customers to arrange dates and times in line with your working shift pattern.
The role is interesting and varied, so you will always have something new and different to do each day. It’s a regional role, so we will provide you with your own van for work, and you will be travelling to meet customers to initiate measurements for their PPE garments and workwear needs. However, you may also be measuring and installing other related items such as lockers, replacement barrels and keys, roller towels, and cabinets, hence why we need someone who is happy to use a drill and has acute attention to detail when measuring.
We will provide you with the training that you require to ensure you are able to deal with any work-related queries, along with your work laptop, phone, and van, and will entrust you to gain a full understanding of size conversions and maintain the sizing kits allocated to you. You will be able to organise other sizing kits as required, and if you have any issues that arise such as size exchanges, we will provide the support you need. We may also have other work projects such as sizing trials and site surveys, where your input will be valued.
What you will need
Does this sound like you? You are professional, organised, and used to managing your own diary. You are experienced in working regionally and enjoy travelling to new locations in the UK. You have a full clean driving licence. You are flexible, enjoy a varied working role, and learning new skills. You have exceptional communication skills and are customer focused. You are experienced in using Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook and Excel and have a good understanding of GDPR data protection and security. You are DBS verified or can obtain verification prior to an offer of employment. You are creative, great at listening, and have excellent problem-solving skills. And you have a good geographical knowledge of the North of England with previous experience of timely route planning to ensure you are always on time.
If this sounds like you we would love to hear from you. This is a rare opportunity to join a small team in an excellent company. The role will involve some UK travel and occasional overnight stays or weekend work so we can deliver on the requirements of our customers and support each other.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity – apply today. We look forward to hearing from you.
