Founded in 1685, our client's company is one of the world's oldest family run businesses and holder of a Royal Warrant. They design and make jewellery, embroidery, medals, ribbon & insignia, and a broad range of other identity-based products for state institutions and corporate clients around the world.
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join them as a Warper. This is a unique opportunity to learn a specialised skill with full in-house training provided.
Are you the right person for the job?
Strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying colour variations
Ability to work methodically and independently
Numeracy skills to assist with thread and pattern coordination (advantageous)
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
What will your role look like?
Work collaboratively as part of a small team while being able to take initiative when needed
Coordinate threads together to create intricate patterned ribbons
Operate and monitor moving machinery safely and effectively
Transfer threads between machines with precision
Follow detailed specifications to ensure product quality
Identify and address colouration differences in threads
