A growing local North Island business is seeking to hire an experienced Aluminium Workshop Foreman. This company specializes in both commercial and residential projects and upholds a strong culture from the workshop team to the installation team.
Role Overview:
As an Aluminium Foreman, you will oversee a team of tradespeople and ensure all aluminium-related projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining quality control throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise a team of ten to fifteen aluminium fabricators and installers
2. Ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets
3. Monitor and maintain safety standards on-site
4. Inspect and assess completed work for quality assurance
5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes
6. Maintain accurate records of work progress and materials
7. Ensure all team members are well-trained and adhere to best practices in aluminium fabrication
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in aluminium fabrication and installation
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and construction site regulations
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
