Job summary The post holder will work as an integral part of the Neonatal Intensive Care team, working with the nurse in charge of the shift. He/she will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Main duties of the job The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, stocking equipment, ordering stores, catering, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the sister/charge nurse. The post holder will be required to work closely with contractors and support service departments. He/she will monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and appropriate action taken to the nurse in charge.
