We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Estates Helpdesk Team at the University of Nottingham. You will be working in a busy fast paced environment and will be responsible for processing large amounts of works requests using our Facilities Management System. You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of customers from Departments across all of our university sites and will provide excellent customer service at all times.
The successful candidate will answer telephone calls, respond to emailed enquiries and will process online works requests liaising with departmental managers to ensure works are carried out successfully. You will also be required to maintain accurate database records and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve emergency issues as required.
Candidates should have relevant vocational qualifications NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some relevant work experience or have substantial work experience gained within a similar role and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work. You will also be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to deal with large amounts of enquiries. You should also have a good working knowledge of Office 365 in particular Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel and have excellent customer service skills.
This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time, 36.25 per week, worked mainly Monday to Friday between 8.45am and 5.00pm. Flexibility will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
