If so this could be the role you have been waiting for., We are increasing our existing team in Supported Living, and building a small, dedicated team to support service users in the next stage of their development. Duties will include:
* Promote independence and ensure that they are involved as much as possible in the way that best suits them.
* Support to manage their tenancy
* Support and encourage the individual to make life choices and develop their life skills.
* Support and encourage the individual to engage in home, social and leisure activities according to their individual choices.
* Support the individual with their finances.
* Support the individual to maintain a healthy lifestyle and remain safe at all times.
* Support with personal care and health needs as required
* Support with medication.
Due to the nature of the role, some elements of physical work such as moving and handling and delivering personal care will be required. Basic pay of £12.45 - £12.65 per hour, Saturdays at £18.68 - £18.98 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £24.90 - £25.30 per hour. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!
