An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS FV Health Visiting Service for a Clinical Nurse Manager Band 8a post. We are looking for a leader with drive and enthusiasm to support the delivery of the health visiting service while using quality improvement methodology to continually improve, making it the best it can be for our service users. The successful candidate will be supported to deliver the day to day management by 6 Team Leaders and will report directly to the Service Manager for Universal Children’s Services.
The successful candidate should have experience of managing a clinical area with a responsibility for line management of staff including the provision of clinical supervision and mentorship, the management of absence, performance review and development and appointment of staff. They should also be an effective communicator, displaying leadership skills and the ability to work across professional and organisational groups.
The Health Visiting Service within NHS Forth Valley sits within the Women & Children’s Directorate at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and covers the geographical areas of Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is a requirement for this post.
