We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in Cwmbran. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting our care team to ensure the highest standards of care are provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to residents.
Assist with personal care, medication management, and daily living tasks.
Ensure the well-being and comfort of residents at all times.
Help with the training and development of junior staff.
Promote dignity, independence, and respect for all residents.
Work closely with the care manager and other team members to ensure care plans are followed.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Level 3 preferred).
At least 6 months of experience as a Senior Care Assistant.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and supporting others.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
