This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified (or finalist) audit professional who enjoys leading fieldwork, working with a diverse client base, and contributing to a collaborative, high-quality practice. The Role: As Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for planning, leading, and completing audit assignments across a broad range of industries. You’ll work closely with managers and partners, supervise junior staff, and play a key role in delivering a smooth, high-quality audit experience to clients. Key Responsibilities : Lead audits from planning to completion for a range of clients Prepare and review audit fieldwork and ensure work is completed to a high standard Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations when required Liaise directly with clients, acting as the main point of contact during audits Supervise and support junior staff on-site and in the office Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Identify and communicate audit findings and risks to managers/partners Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing within the team Requirements: ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist) Minimum 3 years’ audit experience in a UK accountancy practice Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards Confident managing audits from planning through to finalisation Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong IT skills including experience with audit software (e.g. CaseWare, CCH, etc.) A positive team player with a proactive, professional attitude
