Meden School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Head Teacher for Teaching & Learning Impact to drive the school’s progress from Good to Outstanding. This senior leadership role will focus on improving teaching quality, raising student achievement, and leading whole-school CPD initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead teaching and learning strategies, ensuring high-quality instruction across all subjects.
2. Provide coaching and mentoring for staff to enhance classroom practice.
3. Develop data-driven intervention strategies to support underachieving and vulnerable students.
4. Oversee assessment, examinations, and progress tracking to improve student outcomes.
5. Play a key role in quality assurance and curriculum development.
6. Lead on homework strategy, study skills, and revision techniques.
7. Ensure high expectations and a culture of aspiration across the school.
8. Engage with trust-wide initiatives to share best practices and drive improvement.
