Perth Academy
You will be an integral part of the technical support service at Perth Academy, assisting the Senior Technician and team with a variety of tasks which contribute to the preparation, location and maintenance of materials, equipment and classrooms all of which serve to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the school.
Your Responsibilities in this Role:
* Support the Home Economics Department.
* Responsible for the Home Economics Store Cupboard.
* Responsible for ordering the on-line food for Home Economics.
* Preparing ingredients for teachers for their lessons i.e assist in the preparation of classrooms for practical lessons.
* Prepare hospitality for visitors to the School.
* Operate the School’s CCTV.
* Check the availability of worksheets and assist with photocopying and collation of learning materials.
* Catalogue and file resources.
* Assist with the mounting of visual displays.
* Make storage boxes and racks.
* Check and update departmental stock lists.
* Book, distribute and collect audio-visual equipment.
* Assist with the maintenance of ICT inventory.
* Maintenance of School inventory.
* Prepare and maintain classroom materials.
* Move and arrange furniture in preparation for classroom activities.
* Operate photocopying equipment.
* Distribute and collect resource packs.
* Provide first aid as required to children and staff.
