We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated anddynamic dietitian to provide clinical support to patients and to help developthe Community Dietetic Service in Wiltshire.
The successful candidate will work alongside colleagues inthe multi-disciplinary team to support adult patients with a range of clinicalconditions in outpatient clinics, care homes, community hospital wards, groupeducation, virtual clinics and in their own homes. This is a senior level roleand the role will support a range of complex nutritional issues and nutritionalsupport, as well as providing support to less experienced staff.
Main duties of the job
The role includes a weekly commitment to provide dieteticinput to support a specialist area- learning disabilities, home enteralfeeding, gastroenterology being options open to discussion. There could also bean opportunity to experience Paediatrics if interested in this clinical area.It is a chance to experience a varied and interesting role.
The Community Dietetic Team is part of the larger WiltshireHealth and Care team of 26 dietitians covering the whole county and working ina variety of clinical specialties. Working from 2 main office bases, one in thenorth, Chippenham and one in the south, Salisbury/Wilton of the county, wehave excellent administrative support, regular CPD opportunities, and providestudent training opportunities. Due to the nature of the role it is essential thatapplicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have accessto a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Adjustments can be considered inaccordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Academic Degree in Dietetics or Human Nutrition or equivalent.
2. Current UK Health and Care Professions Council Dietetic Registration.
3. Member of the British Dietetic Association.
4. UK Driving license.
5. Health Promotion or cognitive behavioural therapy related qualifications. HCPC registered Dietitian.
6. Clinical Supervisory skills training.
Desirable
7. Post registration in communication and behaviour change skills.
8. Undertaken leadership training.

9. Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence.

10. Experience of working within an NHS hospital/community setting
