We are looking for an experienced and organised person to manage our waste tyre business. We have a fleet of vans going out every day to collect waste tyres from other businesses and bringing them back to our main site to be baled and loaded into containers.
Your role will be to organise our waste collections in advance so our drivers know where they are going each day before they arrive for work. Speak with each of our clients to understand their collection needs and ensure they are always serviced on time, and maximise both the volume of tyres collected as well as maximising the amount of revenue brought in by the business.
The correct candidate requires the following skills:
- Some managerial experience (ideally at least two years)
- Great organisational skills (very important)
- Logistics experience would be helpful
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills and the knowledge to use Microsoft excel
- The ability to work at a fast pace
The job will be taught as you work, but the above skills are none negotiable as we need someone to drive this business and proactively build our client base up whilst being in full control of the operation.
