Join our award-winning Berkshire CAMHS East Specialist Community Team as aClinical/Counselling Psychologist!
We are offering two opportunitiesto join our dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team covering Bracknell, Slough, and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM). One is a Full-time (37.5 hours/week), permanent position based in Upton, Slough and one a Part-time (22.5 hours/week), 18-month fixed-term contract, based in Wokingham or Slough. We work Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm.

• Conductspecialist assessmentsand deliverevidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Providecare coordinationtailored to the unique needs of each young person and family.

• provide comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people and their families, as appropriate
• provide care co-ordination for young people open to the service
• independently manage an appropriately sized caseload
• use supervision effectively
• offer supervision and training to junior colleagues and other agencies as appropriate
• work with colleagues to support the clinical leadership of the team
• work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and within a multiagency system
• work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice
• contribute to audit, service development and research, as appropriate
• maintain own continuing professional development and contribute to team professional development initiatives

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent for those who trained prior to 1996 or for those who completed their training overseas) which provides eligibility for Chartered Membership of British Psychological Society
(BPS) and Registeredandaccredited with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
2. Experience of working in CAMHS.
3. The ability to manage a complex caseload of patients autonomously.
4. Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites.
