What you will do:
1. Provide expert hand therapy treatments focusing on both acute and chronic conditions.
2. Design and implement bespoke splints and rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
3. Manage and care for wounds, including stitch removal, to facilitate smooth recovery processes.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
5. Maintain and manage your own caseload efficiently while driving positive patient outcomes.
We are looking for someone with experience working in a hand therapy setting and a robust understanding of hand pathologies and their management. You should be confident in dealing with acute elective, acute trauma patients, as well as those in plastics and rheumatology. Additionally, you should be adept at designing bespoke splints and managing wound care. A personalised approach to recovery and rehabilitation plans is essential.
To succeed in this role, you must be HCPC registered, and since travel may be needed between locations, having a driving licence would be advantageous.
