I am recruiting for an immediate start Accounts Payable position for an organisation based in central Birmingham. The position is based in Birmingham and will be on a temporary basis for around 6 months.

Description
The Accounts Payable Assistant's duties will include but not limited to:
* Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
* Handling account inquiries from internal and external sources
* Making sure invoices, payments, and transactions are correctly recorded and entered into the database
* Resolving account discrepancies and issues
* Preparing and processing payments for vendor invoices and other financial transactions
* Documenting and updating accounts payable procedures
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
* Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes
* Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
