The Role:

Reporting to the Cell Leader, you will work within a team inside the factory overseeing the efficient and effective running of complex production lines. You will also be responsible for overseeing line operatives and agency workers, ensuring all data capture is timely and accurate, and SIC (short interval control) is being implemented and acted upon.
The Hours:
This role will operate 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shift pattern from 7am to 7pm.
Please note: This position involves working in a temperature-controlled environment (3 to 5ºC).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure H&S standards are adhered to, complying with company policies, and report all instances of risk or safety issues to the Cell Leader.
2. Ensure all staff have the correct role training to carry out their assigned tasks.
3. Ensure that all products meet quality standards.
4. Set up, run, and adjust machinery to required specifications. Conduct basic pre-planned maintenance as per machine requirements.
5. Operate to targeted UPM over a minimum of two complex machines, including Bagging lines, Flow wrap lines, Lidding lines, Mic Vac lines, and Automation lines.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience operating production machinery in a factory environment.
2. Experience overseeing a production line.
3. Experience in FMCG or Food/Fresh Produce sectors.
4. Good numerical and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Good organisational skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills.
