Job Role Details
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving growth, developing client relationships, and promoting an impressive portfolio of fresh produce. You'll work closely with the team to identify opportunities and ensure seamless delivery of exceptional products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business.
* Identify and approach new customers, showcasing the company's diverse product range.
* Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets to drive revenue growth.
* Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain management and timely delivery of products.
* Prepare regular reports on sales performance and pipeline.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications
You will have/be:
* Proven experience in sales, ideally within the fresh produce or FMCG sectors.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
* A proactive, results-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Knowledge of fresh produce supply chains and market dynamics is an advantage.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Requirements
* A valid UK driver's license, own vehicle and willingness to travel as required.
* Flexibility to travel to meet customers and attend industry events.
