Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the private sector.\n\nThey require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing service & repair contract in the Edinburgh area.\n\nContract Details:\n\nLocation: Edinburgh\nWork Type: Annual Service Visits (Annual Gas Safety Check), Landlord Gas Safety Records, and central heating repairs.\nWork Load: 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day\nCommitment: Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends and evening call out available at enhanced rates.\nContract Length: Ongoing (no end date)\nPayment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.\n\nRates:\n\n * Annual Service Visit (Annual Gas Safety check): £26.65 per appliance\n\n * Repairs: £51.25 per completed property (full van stock and parts supplied)\n\n * Linked Repair: £38.44 plus Annual Service Visit Rate (if repair required at Annual Gas Safety Check)\n\nOptional out-of-hours and weekend work is available at enhanced rates.\n\nKey Benefits:\n\n * Local work\n\n * Weekly payments – invoices raised on your behalf - no chasing customers for payment or paperwork.\n\n * Flexible workload, 6-8 jobs per day plus the ability to request additional jobs from planning team\n\n * All appointments are pre-booked via tablet device (provided).\n\n * Tablet includes Exsol computer diagnosis system which when used will diagnose system and boiler faults within 10 checks.\n\n * Van stock, PPE, uniform, and kit supplied.\n\n * Long-term ongoing contract with consistent regular work all year round.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer\n\n * ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)\n\n * Panel Van (plain or sign written)\n\n * Gas Safe Registration\n\n * Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser\n\n * £2m Public Liability Insurance\n\n * No unspent criminal convictions\n\nTo apply for this vacancy please use an up-to-date CV and one of our team will be in touch
