We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader/Senior Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality care and support for young people in a residential setting. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of support workers to ensure the highest standard of care. Build trusting relationships with young people, supporting their emotional, social, and personal development. Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behavioural strategies. Work closely with multi-agency teams, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and educators. Assist young people in developing independent living skills, education, and career aspirations. Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Manage shift planning, team supervision, and report writing. Requirements: Experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards completion by September). Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
