You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching on a range of qualifications, including Pearson’s Level 3 BTEC and City & Guilds T Levels, with a mix of classroom and workshop-based delivery. The role focuses on preparing students for future careers, ensuring they develop essential skills for life, work, and learning in the 21st century. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ needs, interests, and abilities. Teach a variety of Electrical & Electronics Engineering topics, focusing on both theory and practical application. Assess student work, ensuring it meets quality standards and awarding body requirements. Create a safe, inclusive learning environment and support students' academic and personal development. Participate in course team meetings, curriculum development, and quality assurance activities to continuously improve the educational offer. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and contribute to the college’s strategic goals of providing outstanding education. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a motivated and innovative educator with: A Level 5 qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Teaching qualifications (or a willingness to work towards them). Experience or current knowledge of teaching Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant industry experience. Strong communication, time management, and classroom management skills. A passion for supporting students’ progression and helping them prepare for employment. Proficiency in creating and using digital teaching resources. What’s in it for you?
