Job summary Internal Only This post will contribute to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting pregnant clients to stop smoking. The post holder will provide relationship based support and tobacco treatment advice to individuals throughout their maternity care journey. The overall aim is to reduce harm caused by smoking for babies and families. Main duties of the job The main duties of this role is to build supportive and non-judgmental relationships that facilitate open and honest discussions that lead to a quit attempt. The main duties are to provide behavior change support and Nicotine Replacement therapy to those who continue to smoke during pregnancy. To educate women, birthing people, families and health professionals about the risk of smoking in pregnancy. To ensure the service continues to improve and meet the needs of our community the successful candidate will support with data collection and analysis.
