If yes, we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Gloucester, with hybrid working between home and office to suit your routine. This is a key role in our journey to build technologies for our business across our Products. You will be working within our Group Technology department as a key member of the Scrum Master (ACE) Team using a variety of agile frameworks. In this role, you will Scrum Master a team of Developers and Testers. Delivery is also key in this role, to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of a team focussed on the successful and consistent delivery of value-added outcomes. Working alongside Product Owners, Analysts, Development and Testing teams both internally and with external suppliers. Key responsibilities Coach Self-Organisation: Coaching the team in self-organisation and cross-functionality so that they can make decisions whilst fostering a culture of innovation and accountability Optimise Agile ways of working : Work with the organisation and Scrum Teams on continuously improving our ways of working. Scrum Events: Ensure Scrum events take place and are positive, productive and timeboxed. Remove Barriers: Identify, remove, manage or escalate any impediments or barriers, risks or issues that hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted workflow Collaborate with Stakeholders: Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested by the Scrum Team or as needed. Support Product Owners: Help the Product Owner in Product Backlog management techniques, Product Goal definitions and the importance of clear and concise Product Backlog Items. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to reflect on their processes and practices and make necessary adjustments Ensuring quality in Delivery: Support the Scrum Team in creating high-value increments by having a clear and agreed Definition of Ready and Definition of Done Play an active part in Agile Centre of Excellence: Provide Training, Mentorship and Facilitation support: Supply training and mentorship to the organisation on Agile values and principles and Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum and Kanban) to help develop their skills and capabilities. Supply facilitation support to the organisation during Quarterly’s, Townhalls or other shared communication sessions. Monitor and Report Progress: Ensuring high data quality in JIRA to allow tracking, reporting and communication of the team's progress, providing regular updates and MI to stakeholders. Knowledge, skills and experience Experience : Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM). Agile project management. Team collaboration. Stakeholder management. Change management.
