Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Cash Allocation Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable team at our Regional Office in Worksop. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00. The successful applicant would be responsible for ensuring that all G4S customer payments are allocated in an accurate and timely manner, as well as reconciling customer accounts. Main responsibilities Reconcile a high volume of customer payments and ensure accurate and timely allocation Review & investigation of unallocated cash Process refunds on customer credit balances in line with G4S procedures Make adjustments to the receivables ledger where required Process customer credit/debit card payments Action any inbound email queries Assist with any audit requirements Ensure that month end tasks are completed within agreed timescales Look for process improvement opportunities for FSSC service delivery Work to a daily team target set by the team leader Any other Ad hoc tasks as required The ideal candidate Key Competencies: A good understanding of the accounts receivable process An understanding of SAP, Oracle and/or other Finance systems You must live within reasonable commuting distance of Worksop S81 7QF Essential: Strong skills in MS Excel Numerate and Literate Desirable: Experience in working with customers to resolve queries and issues Experience working in a busy Finance environment The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
