Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit an Interim Health & Safety Manager for a well-established organisation providing essential services across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead health and safety initiatives within a business committed to fostering a proactive and forward-thinking safety culture.
Responsibilities of the Interim Health & Safety Manager include:
1. Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.
2. Leading health and safety programmes and conducting risk assessments and audits.
3. Managing incident reporting, analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
4. Delivering training and collaborating with stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Producing performance reports and providing insights to senior management.
The successful Interim Health and Safety Manager will have:
1. A recognised qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, or equivalent.
2. A strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
3. At least five years of experience in health and safety management.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
This assignment would suit an experienced health and safety professional looking to further grow and develop their career. A UK Driver's license is essential.
