Working for a new division of a large, collaborative, global organisation, you will be collecting and interrogating a large and varied range of commercial data before presenting your conclusions from analysis to make sound business improvement recommendations. This role will involve: Supporting the business development team to provide strategic guidance and encourage data driven decision making Proactively gathering market insight and data, presenting this in a palatable way, making commercial recommendations Creating and developing innovative and efficient ways to collate and present data e.g. dashboards and reporting tools Spotting risks related to business development and growth of the business division and suggesting positive solutions for mitigation Using your market research knowledge and skills to conduct relevant surveys and data collation projects resulting in tangible improvement propositions Ensuring operational compliance with relevant regulations and standards Offering expertise on reporting and analysis across the division To be considered for this role, you will: Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related analytical field (mathematics, economics, business etc.) Have some relevant experience in a similar field Have commercial flair and understanding and be able to demonstrate this Be an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present data in an accessible way Use reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects or similar Be passionate about the application of technology in a business environment to support commercial growth Be a meticulous researcher with the ability to gather and interrogate a wide range of data Be confident, innovative and proactive with a flexible, positive approach Be able and happy to work on site in Folkestone for a minimum of 2 days per week, more during the training / induction period and subject to business requirements Outstanding candidates for this role will: Be able to speak multiple European languages Why would you want to work here?
