We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ 11 to 18 school in West Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted RE and History Teacher to start in September. This is a long-term position with the potential to go permanent. To be successful you will be a RE and History Teacher with recent experience teaching these subjects across Key Stage 3 and 4. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
5. Delivering engaging and creative RE and History lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
6. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
7. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
8. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
9. Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Person Specification
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
11. Bachelor’s degree in RE or History or related field.
12. Recent experience teaching RE and History at secondary school level.
13. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
14. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
