Salary range: £23,115 - £24,140 pro-rata, per annum

The Role:
Here at Hindson House, we provide respite services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or sensory impairments. As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalised physical and emotional care to our valued residents.
What You’ll Do:
* Personalised support: Each resident is unique, with their own physical, mental, social, and emotional needs. You’ll enjoy the variety and use your person-centred approach to focus on their strengths and promote their independence.
* Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as eating, drinking, and personal hygiene.
* Engagement: Support residents in participating in meaningful activities, both within our facilities and out in the community.
* Safety and Comfort: Ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety, making sure everyone feels comfortable and secure.
What You’ll Need:
* No Experience Needed: Whether you have prior experience in care or not, your life experience is just as valuable. We provide all the training you need to succeed.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* IT Skills: Basic IT skills for accurate information recording.
* Observational Skills: Strong ability to monitor and respond to health changes.
* Core Values: Demonstrate patience, empathy, and compassion in all your interactions.

For this role, you will be required to work a shift pattern and work alternative weekends and bank holidays for which enhancements will be paid in line with the HCC salary policy.
