About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and driven Learning & Development Specialist to join our Talent team. Reporting directly to the L&D Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our company's development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by driving management development, compliance training, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Key Responsibilities: Management Development: Facilitate engaging manager development programmes and workshops for current and future leaders. Support the talent pipeline by providing effective development initiatives. Functional Support: Design and develop role-specific functional development programmes. Coordinate training schedules, liaising with external providers as required. Assist in designing, developing, and implementing engaging e-learning content for employees at all levels. Ensure training content aligns with business goals and industry standards. Driving an L&D Culture: Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the organisation. Encourage employees to actively seek learning opportunities through communication campaigns and activities on the L&D Hub. Support in developing and tracking initiatives that build a learning-focused environment. Facilitation and Training Delivery: Deliver interactive and engaging in-house training sessions on topics such as leadership, compliance, and functional skills. Ensure all training programmes are inclusive, accessible, and aligned to varied learning styles. Promoting L&D Initiatives: Actively promote the company's L&D success stories and achievements on LinkedIn and other platforms. Regularly update social media channels with fresh learning content and programmes. Continuous Improvement: Manage and promote L&D systems and platforms. Track and report on the success of L&D programmes, using data and feedback to enhance the learning experience. Stay updated with the latest L&D trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve content and delivery. About You: We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who can engage and inspire learners at all levels. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the energy sector or a similarly fast-paced industry. Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions. Confidence in presenting material to groups through workshops, webinars, and other interactive formats. Skills in designing engaging, learner-centred training materials. The ability to motivate learners, facilitate discussions, and encourage participation. Experience in coaching and mentoring employees to apply new skills effectively. Experience evaluating training effectiveness using feedback tools and assessments. A track record of driving improvements to learning programmes based on insights and trends. Technical Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and digital training platforms (ideally Articulate). Strong project management skills with a focus on achieving timely results. Proficiency in creating compelling content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Ability to work collaboratively with teams and senior leaders to deliver L&D objectives.
