Job Title: Demand Planner Location: New Mills, High Peak Salary: Up to £38,000 Bonus Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 17.00pm (Hybrid working) Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Demand / Supply Chain Planner to join the team due to a member of the team retiring. Key duties: A customer collaborative demand forecast which incorporates current and accurate market information that allows the business to correctly predict customer demand and provide its supply chain with the appropriate information to service this. Improved relationships internally with supply chain, sales, marketing and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company. Execute with excellence in the area of customer replenishment and feedback to the Supply Chain group the opportunities and risks regarding customer replenishment performance metrics. Become the Supply Chain Expert for the customers allocated to support continuous improvement of service levels, accuracy, collaborative relationships and ways of working through Customer Collaboration and involvement in the Joint Supply Chain Planning process Supporting the Commercial Team with analysis of the overall forecast, acting as gatekeeper, ensuring all forecasts are assumption based and robust. Working closely with customer supply contacts; fostering a true collaborative planning process. Gather, analyse and validate historical sales data to generate base and promotional forecasts. Responsible for the production of the NPD forecast in conjunction with Sales and Marketing. Facilitate and manage short term fluctuations in Demand through collaboration with customers and supply team Provide a summarised Risk and Opportunity evaluation on a monthly basis following forecast review Ensure brand and customer analysis supports this evaluation Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process Prepare and Maintain relevant Customer Specific Reports to include Stock Holding, Sales Data and Stock Cover where appropriate Track, review and publish promotional sales performance and promotional evaluations Track, review and action on shelf availability numbers Develop, input and support the Joint Supply Chain Plans where appropriate Support and feed into the monthly S&OP process providing insight into forecast changes, performance versus budget and monthly phasing Work with sales and the customer supply team to develop an allocation plan when necessary
