About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied, exciting role offering the chance to make a real difference to our Council, as well as Salford as a whole.
We are looking for an individual to play an important role within the Traffic & Transportation team as a Traffic Management Technician, working closely with other Traffic team members with guidance from senior officers to ensure compliance with all relevant technical standards for Traffic Management and Road Safety. You will be able to compile technical drawings using AutoCAD and associated packages.
You will have knowledge of the design standards for traffic signs, road markings and for minor highway improvements as well as an interest in highway infrastructure including walking and cycling measures.
