We have a unique opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing individual to fulfil a duel role at one of our partnership Specialist Provision Schools based in Calderdale. You will be join a passionate SEN Team from January 2025, delivering a range of sporting and PE sessions to pupils with a range of mild to moderate SEN & SEMH needs.

The Specialist School are seeking applicants with the ability to encourage pupils with a range of needs to engage in sporting sessions and activities to extend their learning opportunities and promote resilience. The school prides itself on celebrating pupils achievement, both big and small! You must be able to adapt to the ever changing needs of the environment and work in partnership with the existing staff team to ensure a safe, supportive environment for learning.
You will be confident working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You'll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you're really proud of.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day depending on experience.
We are seeking applicants with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification or equivalent.
- A kind, caring and consistent approach.
- Previous experience delivering sports/PE sessions is desirable.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
