Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Maintain comprehensive financial records using Sage Accounting software
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and distribute accurate, timely invoices
Conduct thorough bank reconciliations
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Handle VAT return preparation and submission
Assist with payroll documentation in conjunction with external accountants
Compliance & Administration
Ensure regulatory compliance and timely submission of required returns
Manage expense processing within company guidelines
Oversee office and property management tasks
Handle procurement and purchasing requirements
Support broader team administrative needs
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience with Sage Accounting software
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management capabilities
Professional communication skills
Understanding of UK financial regulations and VAT requirements
Relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualifications (preferred)
Experience in the insurance industry or financial management
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
