OA is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our clients expanding team.
Our client provides quality lighting, audio, video and scenic solutions to the live events industry, delivering bespoke production solutions to a wide range of prestige live events across the UK & Europe.
In the role you will identify and secure opportunities to present the Company’s services to targeted high profile events, productions and clients throughout the UK & Europe. Your objective will be to create opportunities for the project management team to convert enquiries into tangible orders.
Location:Borehamwood.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Office-based with client visits.

Business Development Manager - Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve revenue targets through new sales and client retention.
* Stay updated on trends in live events, lighting, audio, video, and scenic markets.
* Research, identify, and qualify potential clients and opportunities.
* Develop a timeline of productions and events suited to the company’s expertise.
* Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
* Secure and conduct sales presentations with potential clients.
* Collaborate with Project Management on live quotes and projects.
* Assist in preparing tenders and maximising sales opportunities.
* Improve and refine the sales process for efficiency.
* Regularly update leads and opportunities with leadership.
* Contribute to revenue forecasts and budget planning.
* Analyse past sales data to identify repeat business and client retention strategies.
* Participate in internal sales meetings and industry networking events.
* Promote the full range of company services to clients.
* Ensure new contacts are included in marketing efforts.
Business Development Manager -Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in building relationships and converting them into business opportunities.
* Background in the events or live production industry is essential.
* Personable, outgoing, and confident communicator, comfortable presenting and engaging with clients in person, over the phone, and in writing.
* Strong commercial awareness, numeracy, and excellent IT skills.
* A UK driving licence is required for regular site visits and meetings across London and the UK.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends, due to the dynamic nature of live events.
* Passion for the events industry and a commitment to teamwork, quality, and service.
