This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to learn through a mixture of on the job experience and block release training through an apprenticeship provider. You will learn how to be a Warehouse Operative, under the guidance of experienced professionals. The role is based on a Monday-Friday working week. You will receive a starting salary of £15,415.40 and once qualified could earn up to £25,591.80 The role: These are active roles which will always keep you on the move The role will involve undertaking allocated Warehouse-related duties in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner. Learn how to operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods in line with prescribed temperatures and company procedures. Learn how to assist with assembling loads for despatch and onto vehicles where required Learn how to conduct periodic quality checks and ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene levels and associated food safety standards are adhered to, intervening to correct non- conformance and escalating any concerns promptly to relevant colleagues where necessary Learn how to take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment at all times Training: Follow ongoing training plan to ensure all Learning Outcomes are met over the duration of the apprenticeship Be diligent and committed to the apprenticeship process and make sure that any concerns or questions are raised with the appropriate person Work together with the training provider and Stef Langdons to meet all expectations of the apprenticeship Attend and take part in off site training at regular intervals (usually every 2 months) What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Apprentice Warehouse Operative?
