Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses Implement specialised teaching techniques to help students achieve academic goals Assess and monitor students' progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment Required Qualifications: Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in SEN teaching Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials Strong organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Training in specific SEN interventions Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours, typically on weekdays. The tutor may need to travel to different locations within Oxfordshire to provide support to students with SEN. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
