Job Title: ASD Teacher (Long-Term)

Duration: Long-Term, Full-time
Salary: £180 – £210 per day
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ASD Teacher to join a supportive school in Lichfield, starting 24th February on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will inspire and nurture students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), fostering a love for learning within a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging classroom experience while supporting students’ unique learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support: Deliver lessons and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of students with ASD.
2. Behaviour Support: Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
3. Personalised Learning: Work closely with the SENCO and other teaching staff to create and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
4. Communication: Maintain strong communication with teachers, parents, and external professionals to track progress and provide tailored support.

The Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people with ASD or other special educational needs.
2. Knowledge: A solid understanding of ASD and the strategies required to support students with diverse learning needs.

4. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
