Shift:
Monday to Thursday 07:00 AM -4:30 PM
Friday 07:00 AM-12:00 PM
Pay:
£16-£17.50
Key Responsibilities:
Cut, shape, and assemble steel plate components to exact specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication
Use fabrication machinery such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cutters
Inspect and maintain quality standards throughout the production process
Manipulate steel materials using furnaces or hand torches for shaping and bending
Assemble and align components using correct hand tools and measuring instruments
Perform grinding, burning, and other fabrication tasks as required
Create jigs and templates for repetitive tasks to maintain work consistency
What Were Looking For:
? Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and steel plating ? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications ? Hands-on experience with drilling machines, rolling machines, guillotines, and power tools ? Attention to detail in quality control and inspection processes ? Competence in using fabrication tools such as grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments ? Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of steel metal fabrication processes
