Role Overview: The Primary Cover Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education during teacher absences. Working closely with staff across the school, the successful candidate will: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to classes across the primary curriculum. Ensure a safe, productive, and engaging learning environment for pupils. Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies. Provide feedback to teaching staff about pupil progress and lesson outcomes. Support the school’s ethos and commitment to excellence in education. Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following: Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferably in a primary school). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage classrooms confidently and maintain a positive learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability to cover lessons across various subjects and year groups. A proactive attitude and commitment to the success and well-being of pupils. Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. Higher-level qualifications (such as A-Levels, a degree, or relevant teaching/education certifications) are desirable but not essential. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
