Position: Management Tutor Location: Remote working (London) Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Type: Permanent The Role This role will support the development and design of high quality, curriculum and learning materials for higher level management apprenticeships standards in relevant sector. The Management Tutor will take full responsibility for own caseload, to engage and support a manageable caseload to achieve their apprenticeships in a timely manner by providing meaningful teaching, learning and assessment sessions, conducting regular formal progress reviews Main Duties and Responsibilities o Responsible to support the planning and delivery of a range of higher level managements programmes. o Carry out a thorough induction and robust initial assessment and diagnostics, to ensure that the needs of all learners undertaking the Apprenticeship are met. o Ensure full quality compliance with Aptem e-portfolio system to support learners timely progress and meet awarding bodies, ESFA and Ofsted and all internal requirements o Use a blended learning approach including technology to teach learners – online tools, interactive sessions, webinars, remote learning, interactive learning platforms. o Conduct study group and 1-1 sessions with managers, leading informal/professional discussions and exploration of latest leadership trends and sharing experiences o Contribute to the development and formative assessment to ensure that learning continues to meet individual needs. o Respond to learner and employer queries in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring regular contact is maintained for the full duration of the learner journey and qualification. o Maintain a safe learning environment, supporting learners in understanding in how to keep themselves, and others, safe and notifying the Safeguarding officers of any risk. o To deliver Functional Skills (English, maths and ICT) as part of the overall apprenticeship framework within agreed timelines. o Promote the fundamental British Values of Democracy, the rule of Law, Individual Liberty and Mutual Tolerance and respect as well as raising learner’s awareness of the Prevent Duty. o Deliver outstanding learning and assessment. o Support learners to undertake course work and assessments, providing the relevant paperwork and record keeping, to comply with awarding body and end point assessment requirements. o Promote and hold high expectations of all learners and what they can achieve. o Attend regular standardisation/team meetings to ensure consistency with other assessors and Internal Verifiers. o Participate in and drive your own career professional development activities. o Update line manager/ Lead IQA on a weekly basis with individual learner progress. o Undertake any other duties as and when required Skills & Experience o 2 years minimum experience of Apprenticeship and Functional Skills led training programmes o 2 years’ experience in Management o Experience in delivering management apprenticeships o Ability to plan and deliver outstanding training programmes and workshops o Demonstrate a passion for training and skills through competence, experience and high-level delivery o High ethical and professional standards with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external clients o Relevant Assessor and IV qualifications o Relevant teaching qualification o Hold at least a Level 5 in management o GCSE A – C equivalent in Maths and English o Excellent attention to detail o Excellent organisational and communication skills o Ability to manage day to day relationship with learners o IAG qualification o Ability to identify commercial opportunities to increase income
