Team Manager

£33,085.65 per annum (Inclusive Inner London Weighting)
Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit a passionate and solution-focused Team Manager at HMP Pentonville.
As a Team Manager, you will oversee the effectiveness of care given to service users within the substance use service. This will include the effectiveness of various groups, packages, substance use services, one-to-one sessions, and multidisciplinary/partnership work.
You will draw on expertise to provide a knowledgeable and skilled service with the ability to rapidly access specialist input when needed. You will support and lead Recovery Workers, ensuring they provide support, continuity, and coordination for people who use our service. You will ensure that individuals are accessing the relevant services available in the prison and that there is a plan in place for each prisoner to support their long-term engagement with healthcare and the management of any health condition they might have.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, a good problem solver, and can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations with a solution-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in line management, safeguarding, and working with vulnerable adults presenting with substance, alcohol, and associated issues.

This role will be rota-based, working early and late shifts, Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota basis (currently only implementing Mon-Fri, subject to change).
