Bookkeeper Sheffield, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a growing practice in Sheffield, currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. About the Role: Join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for clients, including: Bank reconciliations Preparation and submission of VAT returns Management of accounts payable and receivable Clear communication with clients via verbal and written channels, ensuring timely responses Additional tasks such as scanning and electronic filing as required Candidate Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience, ideally within an accountancy practice Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel Experience with VAT returns, reconciliations, and knowledge of VAT regulations Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask, self-manage effectively, and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work Efficient, organised, enthusiastic, and a team player Benefits: Support for long-term development and career growth opportunities Hybrid working and flexible hours available Private healthcare
