Group Procurement – Energy Analyst

Working Rota: Mon-Fri
Working Hours: Full Time
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting the Energy and Environment department with all administration including billing, metering, invoicing, site acquisition and closures processes.
* Preparing data and submission information for our Energy compliance and reporting requirements.
* Producing and managing monthly/quarterly reports for energy usage for key sites and/or fascias across different territories.
* Working closely with the Finance and Property teams to support stores and supplier queries, providing support and resolutions, following procedures in place to meet required deadlines.
* Acting as a lead for data requirements for Group climate reporting.
* Supporting energy and carbon reduction via supplier management and future capex programmes.
What We're Looking For:
* Ideally a graduate with excellent numeric and analytical skills.
* Strong Excel skills are essential, with the ability to use spreadsheets efficiently to manage large volumes of data.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships both internally from multiple divisions (e.g. Finance, Property, Retail etc.) and external parties (suppliers, consultants).
* Confidence to own problems/issues, propose solutions and ensure that deadlines or business goals are achieved within a constantly changing environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach and the ability to multitask and effectively manage own workload.
* Diligence – the ability to assess and scrutinise key reports and work prior to submitting, meeting the standards required, and striving to improve the quality and use of data with attention to detail.
* Motivation to further develop existing skills and to learn new processes and systems.
* Contributing to continued team development by identifying potential efficiencies and appropriately challenging existing processes.
