Job summary Are you an excellent communicator, a team player with administrative skills? If so, we are looking for a part-time (30 hours) administrative assistant to join the Community Diabetes team in Pembrokeshire for a 2 year fixed appointment. The post holder will be an integral part of the North Pembrokeshire Diabetes cluster project which is aimed at improving access to diabetes care and education for those who are housebound/and or not able to access primary care intervention in our locality. The post holder will work closely with the existing clinical administrator and the project team. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide a range of administrative duties, which will include undertaking typing duties, using word processing i.e. letters and general typing, to include filing of clinical and non-clinical correspondence.On occasions the post holder will welcome staff to the department, which may include guiding them to the appropriate room and answering general questions.Duties will also include scanning, photocopying and ordering office supplies.The post holder will provide administrative support in respect of keeping databases up to date and providing information for reporting purposes as required.The post holder will adhere to the Health Board Guidelines and undertake any other duties as appropriate to the nature and grade of the post. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; however English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. This post is a Fixed Term/ Secondment until 30/09/2026 due to funding.
