Deputy Home Manager – Evington (LE5)

Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will:
1. Support the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care and ensuring compliance with Ofsted and all regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and inspire a team to provide the highest standards of care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
3. Monitor, update, and oversee care plans to reflect the health, education, and emotional needs of each young person.
4. Act as the safeguarding lead, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
5. Develop and implement policies that maintain consistency and uphold best practices.
6. Take full responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring smooth operations and quality care.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
1. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
2. Experience in a residential children’s home setting.
3. A strong understanding of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Ofsted Inspection Framework.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to motivate and guide your team effectively.

Essential Requirements
1. A minimum of 1 year of experience in residential childcare.
2. A valid UK driving licence.
3. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
4. Right to work in the UK, Full Time.
