Rate of Pay: £14.67 - £18.40 per Hour Summary: We are seeking a Family support worker to collaborate with Wrexham Local Authority Childrens Social Care teams in delivering structured and high-quality support to children, young people, and families. This role involves supporting case-holding social workers by facilitating supervised contacts, providing one-to-one assistance aligned with Care and Support Plans, and aiding in the transportation of children during foster care transitions. Responsibilities: Service Delivery: Work closely with Childrens Social Care teams to provide supervised contacts, one-to-one support, and assist with child transportation during foster care transitions. Ensure all work aligns with Care and Support Plans and Child Protection Plans. Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, foster carers, and external stakeholders while responding empathetically to their needs. Operational Support: Work flexibly within core hours, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate records and deliver interventions within agreed role boundaries. Professional Development: Commit to continuous professional development by engaging in training and staying updated on best practices and policy changes. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification). Proven ability to work systematically and within established role boundaries. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel for work-related purposes.
